The First False Start
Imagine a 40 year old, tired, self-deprecating dad that keeps his sanity by sneaking away from his wife and kid to take part in his fantasy baseball draft.
Now knock a Gus Frerotte off of his age, substitute Kevin Gerrity’s wife with a younger woman who is equally indifferent towards fantasy sports. Also swap out fantasy baseball (it sucks) with fantasy football.. and you have me. A 28 year-old 1st (ok maybe 3rd) round stud of a dad who is sitting on his couch at 11pm writing his very first blog post.
Best case scenario; this site takes off, gains thousands of followers and actually produces some sort of dividend. Worst (and more likely) scenario; we dump tons of our time and effort into this thing and max out at about 12 readers, all the while having some sort of resemblance to fun while doing it.
We’re just a couple of guys that love sports, especially fantasy football, and want to share our semi-witty banter and expertise with other people who give a shit about the same things.
So enjoy the posts, interact and comment, or never read another post after this (just kidding, don’t do that, asshole). Let’s see where this thing goes.
